Cascadia, the latest association to join the N.F.-Board, are
in talks with former United States international Alexi Lalas over a potential
role as their new national team manager. Lalas stated on Twitter that he’d be “honoured”
to take the position and since then talks have begun between the 2 parties.

Lalas won 96 caps for the USA national side in a career that
saw him play club football for Padova and Los Angeles Galaxy. The Cascadia
Association Football Federation are also speaking to other candidates for the job
as they look to assemble a team with an eye on a maiden friendly against
Quebec.
The CAFF have drawn up a potential player pool of almost 100
players and have already had interest, with Seattle Sounders under-23
midfielder Justin Solomon stating his desire to be involved. The managerial announcement is expected
before the end of the year.
