CECAFA Cup returns to Kenya

Zanzibar will travel to Kenya for the 2013 CECAFA Cup which is set to be held in Nairobi this December.

The decision to hold the tournament in the Kenyan capital was announced last month, just 4 years after the nation last hosted the regional event.

Zanzibar are the only non-FIFA side that compete in the competition and shocked their FIFA rivals last year finishing 3rd, a feat they previously achieved the last time Kenya were hosts in 2009. 

The competing teams and groups are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
